Michael Eichler, MD
- Dr. Eichler rejoined Total Eye Care in 2016. Originally, he practiced with Total Eye Care from 1998 through 2003. He practiced in St. Cloud in the interim. Dr. Eichler returned to the region to provide quality, ethical surgical experience for patients to remain close to home. He is highly skilled in cataract and LASIK surgery, as well as general ophthalmology, treating a broad range of eye diseases, disorders, and injuries.
- A native of Minneapolis and a graduate of St. John’s University, Dr. Eichler went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He then completed his residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. He went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan—Kellogg Eye Center where he also served as Chief Resident.
- Dr. Eichler is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and previously Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology (MAO), American Medical Association (AMA) and Minnesota Medical Association (MMA).
- He lives in St. Paul with his wife and six children. He enjoys golf, basketball, and outdoor activities.
